Children's Privacy

- 💗 Growing Through Words is a parent led app. Only a parent or caregiver aged 18 or over can create an account.
- 💗 Children do not have their own logins. A child profile is only a nickname and an emoji chosen by the grown up. Please use a nickname, initials or first name only. Do not enter your child's full legal name.
- 💗 We never ask a child for a full name, birth date, address, photo, school or contact details.
- 💗 There is no third party advertising, no behavioral tracking and no advertising profiles.
- 💗 There is no chat, no messaging, no user uploads and no way for a child to contact a stranger inside the app.
- 💗 Voice recordings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us and never used to train anything.
- 💗 We never sell, rent or share family data with data brokers.
- 💗 Purchases can only be made by a signed in adult on the Premium page, never inside a child facing activity.
Parental control and review
As the account holder you can see everything we store, change it, or delete it at any time from the Family Account page. You can also email hello@growingthroughwords.app to request a copy of your family's data or ask us to erase it. We honor deletion requests promptly.
If you think a child gave us information
If you believe a child provided personal information without a parent's involvement, email hello@growingthroughwords.app and we will delete it.
