1. Who we are
Growing Through Words is a family communication and early literacy app created for parents and caregivers to use together with their children. By using Growing Through Words you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. Children should use Growing Through Words with an adult. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Family Account page or by contacting us.
3. Not medical, therapy or diagnostic advice
Growing Through Words is a playful learning and conversation app. It is not speech therapy, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it never teaches clinical articulation techniques. If you have concerns about your child's speech, language, hearing or development, please speak with a qualified professional such as a speech language pathologist or your child's doctor.
4. Free and Premium plans
The Free plan gives you a generous starter library at no cost. Premium unlocks the full library, personalization, reports and family features. Prices are shown on the Premium page and are charged in US dollars.
5. Billing, renewals and refunds
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Lifetime purchases are one time payments with no renewal. Purchases, subscriptions, cancellations and refund requests are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy before purchasing. Payments are securely processed by our third party payment provider. Growing Through Words does not directly store your complete payment card information.
6. Acceptable use and license
Please do not copy, resell, redistribute or publicly perform our stories, illustrations, characters, activities or printables outside your own household. Printables and resources purchased through a Family account are licensed for personal household and family use only. Educator, classroom, school, organizational or commercial use may require a separate educator or classroom license if Growing Through Words offers one. Contact hello@growingthroughwords.app about educator use.
7. Our content and characters
Growing Through Words, its name, artwork, characters including Wren, Nia, Zuri and their friends, stories, activities and printables are original works owned by Growing Through Words and protected by copyright and trademark law.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Growing Through Words running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may add, change or retire features over time. Founding Members receive lifetime access to the Growing Through Words Premium digital membership, including future stories, activities, printables and standard Premium features added to the membership. Separate products, professional services, physical products, third party services or future standalone programs may be sold separately.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Growing Through Words is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
